Terms of Use
Effective August 30, 2026 · Last updated August 30, 2026
Loft is a recording and organization tool, not professional coaching, medical advice, or a promise of performance improvement.
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the Loft mobile application and loftcamera.golf. By using Loft, you agree to these Terms and Apple’s applicable App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use Loft.
2. Eligibility and safe use
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. Use Loft only where recording is permitted, respect the privacy and permission of anyone in frame, keep your device safely outside the swing path, and remain aware of people, equipment, weather, and course or range rules. Do not interact with the device while doing so would be unsafe.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of videos, notes, and annotations you create. You are responsible for your content and for having the rights and permissions needed to record, store, and share it. Loft does not claim ownership of your content.
4. Permitted use
Loft grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for lawful purposes. You may not reverse engineer Loft except where law expressly permits it, interfere with its operation, use it to violate another person’s rights, or redistribute the app outside authorized channels.
5. Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. Device capabilities, permissions, storage, iCloud status, and operating-system changes may affect availability. Keep backups or exported copies of content you cannot afford to lose.
6. No professional advice
Loft provides recording, playback, annotation, and organization tools. It does not provide medical, safety, biomechanical, or professional coaching advice. Any decisions you make based on your recordings are your responsibility.
7. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loft is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free swing detection. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so they may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Loft and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, opportunity, or profits arising from your use of Loft. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains limited to the minimum required by law.
9. Apple
Apple is not responsible for the app or its support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for Loft. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce the applicable app-license terms against you.
