What does Loft need permission to access?

Camera and microphone access let Loft record swing video with audio. Photos access is requested only when you import a video or save a clip to Photos. You can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Where are my swing videos stored?

Loft stores your sessions, clips, and thumbnails on your device and, when available, in your private iCloud storage. Loft’s developer does not operate a video server and does not receive your recordings.

How does automatic swing clipping work?

While recording, Loft processes camera frames and motion signals on your device to identify likely swings. After recording, you can add, move, or delete markers before exporting the final clips.

Can I import an existing video?

Yes. Create or open a session, choose import, select a video from Photos, and review its clip markers before saving.

Can I export or share a swing?

Open a swing and use the actions menu to save it to Photos or share it through the standard iOS share sheet.

How do I delete my data?

Delete an individual swing from its actions menu, or delete an entire session from the Library. Deletion removes the associated Loft video and thumbnail files. You can also remove the app and its data through iOS and manage Loft files in iCloud through your Apple account.

Does Loft require an account or subscription?

No account is required. The current version has no advertising, tracking, subscription, or in-app purchase.

The camera or Photos access is not working. What should I do?

Open Settings on your device, find Loft, and enable the permission you want to use. If the issue continues, restart Loft and contact support with your iOS and app versions.
